DOVEDALE :: Other Dales :: Hall Dale

Hall Dale is reached by crossing the footbridge between Ilam Rock and Pickering Tor in Dovedale, and following the path towards Milldale for about a quarter of a mile, until turning left into Hall Dale. On one side it is deeply wooded and on the other it is farmland. Hall Dale leads up to the village of Stanshope.
