Wolfscote Dale links Beresford Dale to Mill Dale. There is an easy walking footpath along its entire course, running adjacent to the River Dove. The sides of Wolfscote Dale are steep and mostly covered in scree and/or woodland. There are also many large limestone buttresses and pinnacles. Where Wolfscote Dale meets Beresford Dale there is a narrow stone bridge over a weir.
